To keep your flowers looking their best, please follow these simple steps:

1. Unpack Immediately
Remove any wrapping or packaging as soon as you receive your flowers to allow proper air circulation.

2. Trim the Stems
Using sharp scissors or shears, cut ½ to 1 inch off each stem at a 45-degree angle. This helps flowers absorb water more easily.

3. Remove Lower Leaves
Strip away any leaves that will sit below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.

4. Use a Clean Vase
Ensure your vase is thoroughly cleaned before adding fresh water and flowers.

5. Add Fresh Water
Fill the vase with room-temperature water. If provided, mix in floral food according to the package instructions.

6. Place in a Cool, Shaded Spot
Keep flowers away from:

• Direct sunlight
• Heat sources (vents, radiators, appliances)
• Fresh fruit (ripe fruit releases ethylene gas, which causes flowers to wilt faster)

7. Refresh Water Daily
Change the water every 1–2 days and recut stems every few days to extend vase life.

With proper care, most fresh flower arrangements last 5–10 days, depending on the flower variety and environmental conditions.
